Last night's BOTR @ THE COVE Show w.
RICK FINES & SUZIE VINNICK was killer!
| RICK FINES & SUZIE VINNICK and their band were every bit as good as expected for their BOTR Show at The Cove last night as they played to a packed house. What a wonderfully talented pair of musicians - truly two of Canada’s best. Their 20 year musical friendship showed through all night long as they laughed, sang and traded hot guitar licks. Rick was masterful on slide and Suzie ripped it up on her “green machine”. 3X Juno Award winner Alec Fraser on bass and John Crown (an old friend of Rick’s from Peterborough) on drums were excellent two. At one time they all traded guitars with Suzie on bass, Rick on Suzie’s guitar and Alec taking the Les Paul. Fun! This was an all-electric show and the packed dance floor attested to how much the audience enjoyed it. The Cove put on their usual great buffet spread and $648 was raised for the Friends Of Foley Mountain. All in all - another terrific night of Blues at BOTR @ The Cove. |
